| After reviewing records, this car was originally sold/registered in Houston, Texas on 2-1-88. According to the service booklet, it is engine # 55253. It had 56,712 miles on 1-24-92. It was sold at some point around 1992 and ended up at Gebhart BMW in Denver. The next record shows an owner in Denver from 1996-1999. We purchased the car in 1/2000 with 119,000 miles and it now has 156,000 miles (as of 8/2017). Bilstein shocks with Dinan front springs have been installed and the bumpers were converted to European-spec in 2015. |
