Previously owned by David Frankel, who purchased the car from Mike Gray in 2014, who bought the car in 2012 from its second owner, who had owned the car since 1987. The car was imported by Great Motorcars, Ltd. in Monon, Indiana in February of 1985 and federalized at that time. It was then sold to Fred Ozer Automobiles Ltd. in Chicago, where it was sold to the first owner on 3/22/85.
Paint is "Sonderlackierung (490)", or "special paint," indicating that the color was a special order, since Henna Red on the E24 6 Series was discontinued at the end of 9/84 production. |
