| Purchased the car from an architect in Eagle, Colorado. He was the 9th owner and had purchased the car from a local tow company that had picked it up in Vail when it was left abandoned during a snow storm. I have traced the car all the back to the original dealer: Checkered Flag BMW in Virginia Beach, VA. There is a possibility that this car ran the One Lap in 1988, but the smoking gun has not yet been found. Currently has 320,000 miles (as of 2008), a new hood, as well reupholstered front seats + center console + emergency brake handle. |
